CCrISP Course - Care of the Critically ill Surgical Patient
INTRODUCTION
CCrISP is a two-day, interactive course (including mandatory, pre-course e-learning) covering the practical skills and knowledge needed to look after surgical patients including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so.
Highly knowledgeable faculty from surgical, anaesthetic and ICU specialties will help you develop practical, theoretical and personal skills in a safe environment so that you can assess and manage critical situations in a systematic way.

RECONNAISSANCE DU COURS CCrISP / COURS FCCS POUR LE CORE SURGICAL CURRICULUM
Les diplômés du Core Surgical Curriculum demandent régulièrement si le cours FCCS (Fundamental Critical Care Support) peut être suivi comme alternative au cours CCrISP (Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient) proposé par le SCS et s'il est reconnu pour l'obtention du certificat CSC. Le contenu des deux cours est très différent.
Le cours CCrISP est organisé par le Swiss College of Surgeons et dispensé par des chirurgiens, des anesthésistes et des médecins intensivistes expérimentés. Il met l'accent sur la détection précoce et le traitement des patients atteints d'une maladie chirurgicale ou en phase postopératoire. L'accent est mis sur l'évaluation structurée, la hiérarchisation des priorités et la prise de décision. En outre, la gestion des complications fréquentes telles que le choc, la septicémie ou l'insuffisance rénale dans les services normaux ou en salle de réveil est enseignée. Le travail d'équipe et la communication font également l'objet d'une formation spécifique. Ces thèmes s'adressent aux personnes qui en sont à leurs deux premières années de formation chirurgicale.
En revanche, le cours FCCS enseigne les principes fondamentaux des soins intensifs, tels que la ventilation, la prise en charge du choc, la septicémie, la sédation et les soins interdisciplinaires des patients en soins intensifs. Le contenu du cours FCCS s'appuie sur les thèmes abordés dans le cours CCrISP, mais met l'accent sur d'autres aspects.
Pour les raisons susmentionnées, le cours FCCS n'est pas reconnu pour l'obtention du certificat CSC.
