CCrISP Course - Care of the Critically ill Surgical Patient
INTRODUCTION
CCrISP is a two-day, interactive course (including mandatory, pre-course e-learning) covering the practical skills and knowledge needed to look after surgical patients including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so.
Highly knowledgeable faculty from surgical, anaesthetic and ICU specialties will help you develop practical, theoretical and personal skills in a safe environment so that you can assess and manage critical situations in a systematic way.

ANERKENNUNG CCrISP KURS / FCCS KURS FÜRS CORE SURGICAL CURRICULUM
Absolvent*innen des Core Surgical Curriculums fragen wiederholt nach, ob der FCCS-Kurs (Fundamental Critical Care Support) als Alternative zu dem vom SCS angebotenen CCrISP-Kurs (Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient) absolviert werden kann und für das CSC-Zertifikat anerkannt wird. Die beiden Kurse unterscheiden sich inhaltlich deutlich.
Der CCrISP-Kurs wird vom Swiss College of Surgeons ausgerichtet und von erfahrenen Chirurgen, Anästhesisten und Intensivmedizinern durchgeführt. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem frühen Erkennen und Behandeln chirurgisch erkrankter beziehungsweise postoperativer Patient*innen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen eine strukturierte Beurteilung, die Priorisierung und Entscheidungsfindung. Zusätzlich wird das Management häufiger Komplikationen wie Schock, Sepsis oder Nierenversagen auf Normalstation oder im Aufwachraum vermittelt. Auch Teamarbeit und Kommunikation werden gezielt trainiert. Mit diesen Themen sollen sich Personen befassen, welche in den ersten zwei Jahre ihrer chirurgischen Weiterbildung stehen.
Im Gegensatz dazu vermittelt der FCCS-Kurs grundlegende intensivmedizinische Prinzipien, wie zum Beispiel Beatmung, Schockmanagement, Sepsis, Sedierung und die interdisziplinäre Versorgung intensivmedizinischer Patient*innen. Inhaltlich baut der FCCS-Kurs auf den Themen des CCrISP-Kurses auf, legt jedoch einen anderen Schwerpunkt.
Aus oben aufgeführten Gründen wird der FCCS-Kurs nicht für das CSC-Zertifikat anerkannt.
